A TeaParty Leader: America Needs David Cameron Leaders

Posted on | February 6, 2010 | No Comments

He may be from the wrong party, and even the wrong continent, but candidate David Cameron is just what the doctor ordered not only for England, but as a solid example of the kinds of leaders needed in the next 4 years of US elections.

Speaking to the Conservative or Tory Party in Manchester, England while seeking Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s chair, Cameron comes across as remarkably genuine and uplifting. His platform is beyond appealing, a beacon for his home country and ours across the pond.

He is a man that stands for bringing back greater personal responsibility, complete transparency from top to bottom, eliminating the corruption of governance in his own government and the derogatory European Union known for its tyranical and financial abuses.

He wants to see the reins of EU pulled back and England restored to it own soverign choices, restoring family values, re-empowering police to work with local communities instead of progressing the police state and detrimental EU bureaucracies that distance government from the people and their needs while unduly enriching criminal-like appointees. He wants to strip away all red-tape and allow small entrepreneurs to more easily start new businesses that grow the economy and jobs, eliminating over taxation, and a long list of grievances corrected across the board–far too many to list here.

Watching Cameron, one gets the distinct impression he is a great public steward, of the kind America once had and has not seen in either party for decades. England will likely flourish under such a leader while America watches, hopeful it may find such great poltical medicine for its own ailments.

Most Americans will never come to know Cameron or his speeches unless he is elected, and even then, they will not know much more after but what they pick up in the occasional sound bite. However, if we were a nation of citizens who actually cared about America and our coming leaders, we would all take the time to get to know Cameron because in knowing him, in hearing his articulations, we can see what true leadership is and what true change would be like through his vision—a vision that could just as easily save America as England; a vision missing from our major parties and their endemic corruption that is eating away at our society and country like a wicked cancer.

If I were a poltician of today, I would instantly adopt Cameron’s platform and win hands down in all my elections, big or small, for his viewes and approaches reflect the trend of today’s voter–a citzenry starved for competency and true accountability and common sense in their government.

Take the time to watch his inspiring speech on C-SPAN recorded 10-8-09 (http://www.c-spanvideo.org/program/289357-1) and see what America has been missing in its body politic—see the kind of change that most Americans had sought in their last presidential election but were completely duped—for President Obama is clearly the quentisential American polician—a dupictious beguiler who will say anything to get elected, and once elected, will not keep his promises but instead brings greater harm to America.
