Election Fraud May Ensure 2010 Upsets

We are no longer valid, no longer a democracy, no longer a free people and nation but instead are now ruled by secrecy, corruption, and tyranny—we have officially killed America and we did it by overlooking voting system integrity!
Most Americans know instinctively that honesty is transparent. They do not need to be taught this reality. However, in precincts across the nation, corrupt officials and others have bastardized our elections and undermined the complete integrity of our voting system by instituting electronic voting systems.
If I hack your bank account, you lose only some money but if I hack your vote, you could lose a nation! When did you decide that was okay?
The issues are many. First, we know from decades of computing experience that all electronic data is subject to unauthorized access and manipulation. Let 50 precincts send their results electronically to one mainframe and let one hacker or unscrupulous worker change the results with the stroke of few computer keys—no real problem—impossible to defend against—impossible to ensure 100% full security and integrity. Ask the Pentagon or White House or Congress if their systems have ever been hacked and they all have to report “yes”. And there is no such equally powerful security system guarding the nation’s voting system or machines so imagine how easy it must be!
Voting machines collect votes electronically. At the machine level several things can be instituted to ensure voting error or fraud manipulation. One, the machine can be programmed to tabulate incorrectly, or to transpose votes. In one example, a voter may cast a vote for Candidate A but the machine transposes the vote and credits Candidate B. This was widely reported in Ohio during the Bush election—Ohio determined who won the nation!
Machines can be manipulated at any time so that fraud is less apparent. For example, a machine may be hacked to tabulate the votes incorrectly in favor of one candidate then re-hacked to appear as if functioning properly. Or, electronic radio switches can be used to make the machine malfunction purposely and then can be switched off once no longer needed or desired so to be undetected.
The major problem with most-all voting machines is that the software systems to run them is often proprietary and thus only the company officials who supply the machines can know if the machines are working properly or not. They are commercial venders and thus have a conflict of interest in reporting malfunctions or security breaches.
To date, not one manufacturer has put forth any voting machine that is hack or tamper proof. Several students and professors at MIT and other universities across the nation have proven this point time and again. Every voting machine and system of gathering and tabulating e-votes is hackable—period!
Without a way to know if a machine is accurately tabulating and keeping secure its votes, the entire system is flawed and subject to manipulation on a wide scale by organized operatives from either party or even outside groups. For example, a group posing as community organizers who say they are concerned about fair elections may volunteer to oversee the elections and voting but could use their access to plant technical people who can manipulate voting machines and thus supplant the actual vote to ensure their candidate wins. Or, those who certify the elections may grant access to such people because they, too, want to ensure their candidate wins. Even the venders themselves can be corrupted if enough money hits the backroom table. This means our elections are subject to being highly corrupted at any time.
With no paper trail or verifiable record to ensure that the machines were running with 100% integrity at the moment they accepted their votes, or subsequently tallied such votes and passed them on, there is no trust of the accuracy in the system—all such voting machines are therefore to be considered untrustworthy and invalid–even machines with printed reciepts (because they report their totals electronically and can be programmed to print what was voter selected while eletronically tabulating something else altogether).
Such issues do not arise with paper ballots (only). Voting cards or ballots are physical in nature and their records are less subject to manipulation. If the vote count is questioned, a recount can be made by a new set of vote workers, thus ensuring vote count integrity. If it is still in question, a third or consecutive count can be conducted until all statistical errors are insignificant. This is not possible with electronic machines, especially those without paper trails.
Ballots can be tabulated and cross referenced to the actual number of registered voters who showed up to collect their ballot and cast such. This also provides a level of integrity to the system. Such records are often discarded using electronic voting, thus there is added room for adding votes that did not otherwise exist (or subtracting votes that did).
Assuming a voting precinct had the first and only 100% secure voting machine, then there are other manipulative issues with electronic voting. For example, the votes can be tabulated at a centralized location where they exist only in electronic format. Thus any hacker able to enter the system can transpose the vote counts and not otherwise be detected. Suddenly 4.2 million votes for Candidate A becomes 4.2 million for Candidate B instead. A good hacker, even one working for clandestined government organizations inside or outside government, could easily access the system and leave undetected.
With paper voting, once the local precinct validates the results of the count, the officer can sign-off on each ballot group tabulation and deliver copies of the results to the main tabulation warehouse along with other precincts. The officer can also work independently with other officers and make a separate tabulation to ensure it matches with the official count at the main warehouse that is tabulating all precincts. Such a double security measure cannot be achieved with most electronic voting machines systems.
These are but a few of the ways our elections are now subject to complete fraud. The reality is, we can no longer trust that democracy is working because we can no longer trust our voting system—electronic voting is a full-proof plan for usurping democracy by any group or specialist able to game the system. The public and the voter have now been removed from American Democracy—the candidates now elected may very well be ones of clandestine choosing and not of the electorate. Thus the voter is now but a brainless monkey pulling on a false lever at the polls, fooled into thinking their vote actually counts.
With so many other forms of abuse coming out of this current Administration, as well as its ties to criminals community organizations like ACORN and others, we may see the 2010 election as the biggest upset in American history—a clandestinely caused upset with the true manipulators of the vote forever unknown and unrecorded. And we may never be the wiser. This is the year to really watch democracy die in America—in a year when the Dems should lose in nearly every race, we may actually see the opposite—we may actually see the Dems sweep into strong majority power against all odds!
Poll after poll says Americans overwhelmingly stand against each and every bill and act by the White House and Congress (about 7 out of 10 Americans), and history shows us that in such political climates, the other party tends to sweep in so counter-balance the power base and set cures in motion. This year, or in 2012, let’s see how they explain the upsets if they come!
It is not important which political party or group may hack our elections—this is not a party issue. What is important is that such events could be taking place at all. And once the system is fully corrupted, the party in power would likely be able to stay in power indefintely. Only secure voting and elections keep this from ever being a possibility.
As a nation of people who love our democracy, we should take immediate steps to remove each and every person in charge of our voting systems and election laws from our governments. And, even if need by act of force, remove each and every electronic voting machine and system from the nation and force back into use our old, tried and true voting systems with paper ballots, paper trails, and most importantly, with near strong checks and balances. Otherwise democracy is dead whether we admit it or not.
